I thought everything
could be measured,
and that is not true.
There are things
that cannot be measured
in kilometres,
nautical miles,
flight hours,
or legal tender.
Now I know that life
is just too big to think
only about rush.
I hope I never forget again.
I will head to the sea for a swim,
and lie down on the sand.
I solemnly declare
I will laugh for as long as I am able.
The fine weather will slip
through my window again, and the sea
will wake me.
I will live under the light, under the sun.
I'm getting away! Sure thing! Of course I am!
